The subject says is all. I have edited my user_prefs file for various settings and I think it is working pretty good but then I went to the Whitelist control panel in CPanel and after I added an entry to the whitelist items, my user_prefs got overwritten with what looks like default settings. Does the whitelist user interface read the user_prefs before writing out the new whitelist items?

What is the correct way to add something to my whitelist but still maintain a custom user_prefs file?

Thanks,
-Eric Hardwick

I forgot to mention this is all for configuring SpamAssassin on my lunarpages hosted site.
