Hello to all,

When I looked at the directory root of my website... I found the email directories organized like

/mail/mydomain/myemailaccount/inbox

And the inbox is a file that could be a zero length when there is no new messages.

At this stage, can I thought I can create an account using php (creating folders inside /mail and creating files etc...) but it didn't just work.

Ok I'll always pass trhough cPanel Smile
But if other people manage it, then let me know

You need to create aliases/filters for the accounts as well. Those directories are just where the mail is stored - you still need to tell the server what to do with email to ??@domain.com

It is possible to create e-mail accounts on the systems from a PHP page.  I don't know how (sorry only partially helpful here), however, I have seen this achieved by one of our customer's from a PHPNuke based site.
