Over the last few weeks, I've noticed significant problems when sending mail to gmail accounts.  Many times, they appear to be sent OK, but are never received by the gmail recipient, and I get no bounceback message.

This has happened enough times recently to confirm that it is a problem, and it is easily reproducible.  Yesterday, I sent an email to a customer of mine using two of his email accounts - the one to his regular ISP got through, but the one to his gmail account didn't.  The question is whose problem is it?

This may be a case of gmail identifying my email server (quasor) as a source of spam - this mis-identification seems to happen pretty frequently (every few weeks, based on bouncebacks from other ISP's).

Has anyone else noticed failures when sending to gmail, or other ISP's?  If so, what server are you on?

Not sure if it's related, but I'm having trouble reaching one of my clients who used Yahoo (I'm on the Zeus server).  For instance, I'd send an e-mail (or multiple e-mails) and she would sometimes receive it and sometimes not, for no obvious reason.  I wouldn't get a bounced-back message or anything, so I had no way of knowing whether or not she received my e-mails.  Pretty frustrating... And she confirmed that my messages weren't going to her spam folder.

Anyway, I set up an SPF record but that didn't seem to help.  I'm still experiencing this problem.  I saw a similar post from someone else about this same topic a short while back... don't know if they came to any conclusion, though, other than to contact support.

Same problem here, my email is not being sent to gmail. I forwarded it and all. Though squirrelmail is fun!
