Does Lunarpages have a limit set on the amouunt of emails I can send out over a give time period. I have a forum running on my site and send out new post notifications a weekly newsletter to users that subscribe to them and frequently get mail bounced back to me with "unrouteable mail domain" errors. I did some searching around and it seems that that is usualy caused by outgoing email limits set by the host. I made some setting changes on my system to send the messages out of a queue in smaller chunks of 50 email at a time with a time delay between chunks but still periodically get everything back with unrouteable mail domain errors.

Does Lunarpages have a limit, if so what is it?

Wow, that was a fast reply. I will try to keep it under 500/hr and see what happens.

In addition, you need to keep it under 20 per minute.

Is there any way to increase this number up to about 1000 per hour?

You may be able to do more on a VPS or Dedicated hosting account.  Drop an e-mail to dedicated@lunarpages.com and they will have more information on this for you.  Thanks!
