Hi

I am working on a second website and have an add-on domain within my main account.

The folder is public_html/silent-vamp

Presently, in FP I have a subfolder corresponding to the public_html/silent-vamp in Web1.

My question is, in FP can I create this new site in a separate web from my main site (Web1) with the new site being (web2) and publish it without screwing up web1?

Thusfar, when working on the second site in FP, as I create new pages I am unable to set up the navigation, FP only seems to recognize Web1 in the navigation structure.  Even if I am trying to work in the silent-vamp folder, when I view navigation, I only see the main web1.

Thanks!

Yes, the second web can be completely separate in FrontPage and published to the add-on domain name.

Using the web host's cPanel file manager, you will still see the second web in its folder under public_html.

If web2 uses the FP extensions, you'll need to use cPanel to install a set of extensions in the second web's folder.

Note that once the webs are separated, relative hyperlinks in the second web can't refer up to files or folders in the first web anymore and you may need to edit some of them.
