I have been messing around with a personal site for awhile (www.chimpie.com) trying different things.  At that domain right now I have a blog.  I don't do very much with it as this site is just a toy to mess around with.

I'm currently creating a template: www.chimpie.com/site2/themetemplate.htm

Once the theme is completed I'd like be able to embed the blog into the site without using the wordpress theme that is currently being used, either in a regular page or in a side bar.

What coding would I use to embed my wordpress blog into a page without using a/the theme?

I would suggest designing the theme for WordPress, and then controlling your web site that way or you could have the static site one way and then try your best to match up a WordPress theme to your current theme setup.  Might be easier to start with WordPress and use only WordPress from the start - so you don't have two different versions of your theme files.
