I am trying to create a Contact Form and have it send me an email but I keep getting an error, FrontPage Extensions not configured for sending email.  I am new at this but am eager to be better.  The bottom line is this; I want the user to fill in the form, have it email me the information and post a message thanking them for their information, then select a button to return to my site.  Please help?

Go to http://martinsway.com/newmway/contact.html , type in some info and advise?  I cannot get rid of the The Confirmation Page!

Here is my code:   <!--webbot bot="SaveResults" u-file="_private/form_results.csv" s-format="TEXT/CSV" s-label-fields="TRUE" b-reverse-chronology="FALSE" s-email-format="TEXT/PRE" s-email-address="info@martinsway.com" b-email-label-fields="TRUE" b-email-subject-from-field="FALSE" s-email-subject="Someone is requestion information for Martin's Way" s-date-format="%A %B %d, %Y" s-time-format="%I:%M %p %Z" s-builtin-fields="Date Time" u-confirmation-url="thankyou.html" startspan --><strong>[FrontPage Save Results Component]</strong><!--webbot bot="SaveResults" endspan i-checksum="6561" --><p>

When FrontPage saves a page having a form, it gives that confusing message, which you may typically ignore. It is basically telling you that the form won't work until the page is published to the web server running the FrontPage extensions.

You can create and save your own confirmation page.

Then right-click on the form, choose Form Properties, and fill in the name of your confirmation page.

Looks like you got everything set up correctly.

In FP2003 on the contact form in question (opened), right click on the page and choose 'Form Properties'.  Here you should see where FP2003 stores the data and also the email address you want it sent to.  Click on 'Options' in the 'Form Properties'  pop-up.  This window also has an 'Email Results' tab which allows you additional configuration.

As Rick_E says... this will only work when yo publish the site.
