Can anyone point me to a tutorial on designing one's own theme in FrontPage.  I know I can modify the existing themes, but I would like to design my own.  I wouldn't mind modifying an existing theme, but I can't seem to change the navigation buttons.  Anyone know how to do that?

Thanks,
Ron

ronmsf2, did you try Google?

Here's some links that Google provided:

http://www.google.com/search?sourceid=mozclient&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&q=creating+themes+in+FrontPage

Probably the 3rd link would be a start.

Well I don't know how well I'll do at this but here goes. This is for the horizontal buttons.
you have to create your own buttons or you can download some that you like. after you have the button design that you like, you need three of each if your going with the active graphics. One for the pic, one for hover, and one for selected. Most simply modify the colors a bit for each. once your buttons are ready just save them anywhere and open frontpage go to format/theme and pick one that you kinda like. at the bottom you'll see a button that says modify, click that and then click graphics. You then get a drop down menu of options background, banner, horizontal nav, ect. select the horizontal nav and you get 3 browse buttons picture, selected picture and hovered use these to change your nav buttons to what ever you like. the same process is used for banner, background ect, just be sure to name your buttons so you know which is which oddly enough in order to change text style you click on the colors button after modify then click the custom tab.  ok I hope it helps but I'm not good at explaining or spelling but that should give you a basic idea. here are some sites I've done with fp themes:
www.yourweddingyourway.net
www.poemsandmore.com
www.babygirl.poemsandmore.com
http://www.startyourownbusiness.netfirms.com <-- is still there but I don't do much with it any more

Perfect!  That's exactly what I needed.  I had your post open, and FP, and was able to change my navigation buttons without a problem.  Thanks!

I did check google first, but after going through a dozen links or so, I thought I might have better luck here.  I did go back and dig around some more and found the following which I think will be very helpful.

Thanks for prompting me to dig a little deeper.
