This thread might be some help you to you in this situation.

Also, I hope your not providing free hosting on your plan for your friend, as that would be against the Lunarpages Acceptable Use Policy:

Hello,

Some of the information in that thread is pretty old and a bit confusing.

The shorter answer is that you need to enable the FrontPage extensions on the friend's subdomain only if your friend wants to use the FrontPage features that require the extensions, such as themes, shared borders, link bar, hit counter, forms, etc. The FrontPage Included Content does not apparently need the extensions. You friend probably knows if the extensions are needed.

If your friend is just starting with FrontPage. it is recommended that the extensions not be used. This is because they are trouble-prone and being phased out. To disable the features requiring the extensions in FrontPage, select the Tools menu and choose Page Options... Authoring tab. In the top section, select "None" from the dropdown list.

If the extensions are not needed, your friend can still use FrontPage as the editor and use FrontPage FTP publishing to transfer the files to the server.
