Grrrrrrrrrrr. I've been beating my head against this for days, and all I have to show for it is a bruised forehead.

www.pennsheetmetal.com, go to Architectural & Commercial

My issue is that the majority of my drop-down menu's linked pdfs are not displaying when selected. Instead I get a '404 Error - Not Found', and next it crashes Mozilla/IE. I've verified that my javascripts are auth'd in my browsers, and (that I can see) the code seems to be right. I even checked that it wasn't the limitation-of-characters for the hyperlinked files.

In addition, I would also like to know how to make the page colours I've selected in FP to actually display on the brower. It looks sharp in FP Preview, but on the browers it's just white-background.

Ideas? In simple language, please, as I'm not a professional IT person.

Hello,

I notice that some of your file names have spaces in them as well as upper and lowercase so perhaps the hyperlink file names do not quite match exactly to the pdf file names.

Also, on Linux servers the file names are case-sensitive, so MYFILE.PDF is different from myfile.pdf. To avoid confusion, most people use all lowercase filenames with no spaces in them.

If this doesn't help, please post again and say specifically which link does not work..

Perhaps more to the point, by hovering over the menu items I can see that some of them do not have any pdf associated with them.

For example:

Roof Perimeter... Drip Edge... Standard
and
Rood Interior... Pipe Systems... Cape & Collar

do not have a pdf file name assigned.

There are pdf's associated with them, but I think I figured it out - had to delete them out of FP, re-Import them, and change the file names. That seems to have done the trick.
