Don't get me wrong... I'm not trying to twist arms here... but yes (hangs head in shame) I still use it...

... but in preparing for the future, I'd like to have a timeline in place for phase-out and replacement...

what do the LunarFolks recommend to those (shamed) FrontPage users? Confused

I personally recommend DreamWeaver or just a script like WordPress..

Yeah I agree that a content management system would be the way to go - something like WordPress, Joomla and the many more.    Thumbs Up

I personally like Joomla but not the easiest to use.

SharePoint didn't make the list... any reason?  (besides that it is in beta testing?)

You can prepare for the future and continue to use FrontPage or its successor Expression Web. Do this by removing from your pages the features that require the FrontPage server extensions (shared borders, link bars, hit counter, subwebs, etc.)

This page has a list of features that require the extensions http://support.microsoft.com/kb/281532/EN-US

The only FrontPage specific features I use are Included Content (does not require the extensions) and the FrontPage forms. It will be easy to replace these two features with their PHP equivilents when the time comes.

Microsoft groups have additional FrontPage assistance:

Thanks to all!  This has been helpful.  In Heaven

Now I'm thinking a well-designed poll on these forums could also be informative.
