My partner and I update our website from different locations/computers.  We use FrontPage and recently switched publishing from FTP to FrontPage as we require the extensions now.  Extensions are activated.
Now when I open my site and remote site, we have the following problem:
Local to remote files show unmatched / unchanged with blue arrows
Remote to local files show unmatched / changed with blue arrows.
Modified date/time/file size is the same for both sites.

We don’t understand why we now get blue arrows on virtually all the files, even archived files that neither of us has touched in months. I notice that if I upload a revised file, the blue arrow disappears; but if I navigate to a different folder and return to the original one, the blue arrow has returned.
I tried a Sync and the same problem was there.

What are we doing that needs to be corrected  so that only files that have been changed will be highlighted with the Blue arrow whether from remote to local or vice versa?
Thank You

Hello,

For what it's worth, I've used FrontPage for 11 years and the little arrows have always been inconsistant and confusing, so I've paid absolutely no attention to the them will no ill effects. If both of you are getting the right files during a sync, consider disregarding the arrows.

If you want to try to get the arrows right, you might look at the next message thread down, where the user resolved a similar issue by doing a complete republish from the remote (server) to his local computer. To be successful, I suspect you should publish to a new, empty folder on your computer.

Rick,

We tried the republish, ended up with the same results.

Thanks for your help.
