I have a weird problem with FrontPage - I have published my web site to Lunar pages, and the links are all mixed up. I saw in this forum that I should have all pages named with all lower cases, so I changed them to lower case. The problem is when I open the web site in Front Page, it still shows the htm files as starting with upper case. So then the links won't work because they don't match. Even though the same files on my local computer have all lower case (htm files and their corresponding files). In other words, the file list in FrontPage (that I will publish to the site) and the actual files on my computer do not match as far as upper-or-lower case. It's like FP is changing them as they are opened (and then publishing them that way). I have tried re-booting my computer, but that didn't work. Do I maybe need to uninstall and re-install my FP Extensions in the Control Panel? Thx for help.

Click here for info on my new video, Pour It On! <==this is the only link that did not work for me. It could be that you just need to reset the hyperlink for that one.

When changing page and folder names to lowercase, it is sometimes necessary to rename them to something completely different, publish the site, then rename them back to the lowercase. For example,

rename Index.html to index1.html, publish the site, then rename to index.html and publish again.

Thanks for help - I thought maybe it was a matter of renaming them fresh . . . . . but what a hassle that is. I have got most of my links to work by renaming all files to lower case and taking out spaces in file names. I assume that is how I should build all web pages from here on out. Not sure why this wasn't a problem on my old web host - that site was published with FP also.

Twisted Darkness - most of the problem links I was talking about were in pages after the home page.

On web servers running Windows software, the case is not an issue. Your old web host was probably running Windows.
