It's sometimes useful to change text into a graphic, for example if you  want to use a fancy font or if you want to keep your email address from being harvested. You can easily convert text into a graphic without ever leaving FrontPage.

* In the location on the page where you want the text to appear, type the text in whatever font and size you want to use.

* Press Ctrl+PrintScrn to copy an image of the entire screen to the clipboard. Note: nothing appears to happen.

* Drag your mouse over the text you just typed to select it.

* Press Ctrl+V to paste the image of the screen. The image will replace  the text you previously typed. Note: it may look a little strange at this point because you just pasted in an image of the entire screen.

* Click on the image to select it.

* Use the Cropping tool from the Picture toolbar to crop out all except the image of the text you want to keep. Crop as close to the letters as possible.

* Use the Set Transparent Color tool from the Picture toolbar to make transparent the background between the letters. This will allow you to use the image on different colored backgrounds.

* Save the page. You'll be prompted to save the GIF image of the text at that time.
