What I got:
My music website, with cool navigation bar and shared borders. When I add a new page (rarely - I mostly just update pages now), it automatically appears on the navigation bar (I think that's what it's called), so is easy to jump to.  Cool.

What I'd like:
Except I'd also like some pages only available for private use, that aren't accessible unless you know the url or password or whatever, and don't appear in the navigation bars.

Currently I have sort of that thing - a few folders that contain photos and stuff that I want to share with friends/family, only accessible by typing in the special url.

So two things: The photos aren't laid out pretty.  They're just a list of jpgs (text) that you have to click on to view the pix.  How does one make it act like a regular web page without it appearing as a link on my site? And is there an easier/more secure way of accessing? I assume a savvy somebody wouldn't have much trouble "finding" my "hidden" folders. (Not that there's much interesting for them to see.)

Thanks.

Greetings,

There are at least two things you could do.

* In the "hidden" folder create a blank web page and name it index.html. Then people going to the folder wouldn't see the list of files.

* Convert the "hidden" folder into a FrontPage subweb and apply password protection. Then anyone would need to know the username and password to get anything in the folder. Here are instructions for that:
