I'm hoping someone here can help me figure out what my problem is.

I have a form which I wanted to place on several pages in my site, so I created the form as a seperate page and include that page on the pages where I actually want it to show.

What is happening is that the form is being repeated. I think whenever I save the final page it adds a second instance of the include. I can't figure out why, or how to stop it. I've been all thru the Front Page help files and I can truly say that on this subject, they are NOT very helpful.

What am I doing wrong that my include is getting duplicated?

I also use another include on all of my pages for copyright notice, etc. That one is NOT being duplicated. So, I don't think it is the include itself, but something to do with the form. But then I am grasping at straws at this point.

thanks in advance if you can help me.

I had this happen under similar circumstances the second and subsequent times I published the page after editing. My workaround was to rename the page slightly every time I saved the page... myform.htm to myform1.htm back to myform.htm.

If you want to avoid this, create the form separately on each page.

Thanks Rick,

Apparently one of those "little" glitches that Front Page gives us. It does kind of defeat the purpose of modularizing your code as much as possible.

Still wishing I could afford Dreamweaver and that I had the time to learn it if I ever get rich enough to buy it.

Interestingly, it doesn't always do it. I think it does it less when the included form is located in the same folder as the main page.

Thanks Rick,

I'll have to try that trick.
