While publishing our site using FP2000, we get a message from FrontPage that the search and email pages will not work because the extensions are not installed. The extensions are installed, the site loads OK and the pages mentioned in fact do not work giving message, "You have submitted a form or followed a link to a page that requires a web server and the FrontPage Server Extensions to function properly."  This issues seems to have everyone stumped. Can anyone help?

I typically see that message when I publish my site to a different folder on my hard drive as a backup, or when I open the web site live and publish back to my hard drive, again, as a backup. I both cases the extensions are not installed on my hard drive, which of course, I know. In your case I'm not sure why you're seeing it. Maybe someone else will have more information.

All the best, Rick E
