I've been practiceing how FrontPage works, and things allways seam to happen. Is there a better program out there that's not costly  Confused

When I edit and change a page, and republish the changes don't show up. Why would this happen?

When I add a picture, and put the picture under a different folder (because this site will have lots of pictures and I don't want a clutter), the picture doesn't show up live.

There are no error messages, the publishing status says it goes through "sucessful", and NO name page/folder has any error messages such as "conflict" in the website properties area.

Is this Microsoft or me?

I'm not sure if I should've put this in webhosting help, but ok?

Now my index.htm says it has a "conflict". Blah, I don't get it. Should I just "overwrite" when publishing?

Could you please post a link to your site? There might be some coding issues. For example, FP might not be dealing with filenames in a way that is compatible with the server, which is case-sensitive.

Do you hit the refresh button on the browser? You should overwrite when you publish.

http://www.autoconveyance.net

I had a file with the first letter uppercased, so maybe that could be a problem. I just forgot about the ordeal (with Linux...). All files are lowercased named now, and I made a quick "test" page; the picture came up, and when I edited the page and republished everything worked fine. I guess this was why, so I goofed  Surprised .

Different Topic:
One thing I don't get is the "Vehicle Showroom" link; when clicked upon the page comes up, but I have done deleted the page from my Remote Website (in FP), and Local Website respectively. Is this one of those rare cases where I have to delete it from cPanel? Or does it take time, even so it's been a day? (notice other pages are deleted, and therefor the error page comes up)

Do you mean the one that goes here:
http://www.autoconveyance.net/showroom.htm

I got a 404 message. Did you click refresh on your browser? Confused These pages could be in your computer's cache even if they no longer exist on the server.

That's weird; hitting refresh or typing the link in the address bar gives me the 404 error message, which is good. Thanks...
