Ftp ulaod says "site uploaded sucessfuly"
If I try my web site it is not uploaded at all???

Hi Pbal

If you were trying to upload files to prbal.com before it had propogated it would be casuing you problems.
It looks like your new domain was only set up on the 25th so its probably only just now fully propogated worldwide.
It might be a case of now your propogated you will find frontpage can 'see' your site since you tried it last Thumbs Up

Can you see the files you have uploaded using your cpanal and are they uploaded to the right place on your site?

I see a folder called rnbal and a folder called gpyc on your site.
(No index.html file so its all visible in directory form.)

Also have you tried uploading a file  from your Cpanel file manager ?
And does that work ok for you.

My site is www.langridgeplants.com. I get redirected to www.lunarpages.com when navigating to it. I did clean out my PublicHTML folder and try to reinstall my FrontPage Extentions in CPanel . I now tells me in Cpanel "no server found"

Any clues?    Confused

I spoke with a LP rep, he told me to up load my index file for prbal.com at public_html
I need some help for FPage. When the window do publish open, what exactly do I need to type to upload my files?
On the publish destination, if I type: http://prbal.com or http://www.prbal.com or http://prbal.com/public_html/ or http://www.prbal.com/public_html
I get an unable to access box,

What do I need to type to get my page uploaded.
Thanks in advance,
Patrick

Hello,

You should publish to http://prbal.com.

FrontPage will automatically put the files inside the public_html, where the public can see them.

Be sure to name your home page index.html.

Rick:
Again, when I tried to publish my index.html home page and typed http://prbal.com I still get a box that tells me that it can not open that site and that is a server error.
I am not sure why I am getting this problem as I never had a problem with a previous host to publish my HP with FP2002 using http://mysite.com
It is uploading files in ftp but the themes are not showing.

Hi,

Your web site at prbal.com does not have ANY files in it. You must have FTPed your files into the folder above the public_html folder.

Your web site does not have the FrontPage extensions installed. That's why FrontPage will not publich to the site. You should install the FrontPage server extensions in the LunarPages control panel cPanel, then try again to publish using FrontPage.

If you are using themes, you should definately not use FTP to trandsfer your files because they don't all get transferred. I think that once you install the FrontPage server extensions you'll be able to publish properly using FrontPage.

Hope this helps.

Im guessing you finally got this sorted out..  Thumbs Up

You have some amazing photos there. Applause
If this is a not a 'personal' site, you might want to resize the photos in 'whistler folder' as they are pretty big images, and thats a lot of downloading  to get them all ( hence a lot of time for slow connections and a fair old chunk of your bandwidth )  Thumbs Up

Only links that are not working are those to the guampacyachtcharter and Reiko's sites
