I have MS Frontpage 2003, would have never bought it if I new about the server extension problem. Anyway, I have to use FTP for files. I'm trying to publish a database and it says that ASP files are not accepted. Do I have to use the asp.net format? Confused

Hi,

I'm not sure what server extensions LP provides, although I doubt it should cause any problems.
Second, LP doesn't support ASP.NET, but it does support ASP files as an additional feature to your account (additional low monthly fee for this). If you haven't requested ASP, you can do so by emailing support@lunarpages.com with your username and last 4-digits of your credit card number and state that you want ASP enabled.

Hope it was helpful.

Hi dawngrist,

The ASP provided at an additional $1.00 per month is SunOne's Chili!Soft ASP.  binaryblue is correct in that you would need to have purchased the ASP capability in order to use it as well as the steps to making the request.

As for server extensions, I believe you are talking about FrontPage extensions, and we do not support FrontPage 2003 extensions only 2000-2002.  The extensions that will not work are those using SharePoint services since these are not available for Linux servers.

I hope this helps.
