Hello

I am creating a subdomain eg. wholesale.mydomain.com and had also created a FTP account with the username: wholesale@mydomain.com

I am unable to add a Network from my computer using this address: http://www.wholesale.mydomain.com and password: wholesale@mydomain.com

I had the frontpage extention already installed.

I emailed help to the lunarpages stuff, they keep asking me to do a tracert which I did and is perfectly normal as well keep explaining I can't connect to my SUBMAIN AT ALL.

They said I should type in at the address just: wholesale.mydomain.com but FAILED.

Can anyone please help me?HuhHelp Hypno

Thanks
Ivy

Hello,

To FTP to the subdomain and/or create a network place, use Windows Explorer to go to the address

Code:
ftp://mydomain.com

Click OK on the error message then select the File menu and choose Login As...

Enter the subdomain FTP username wholesale@mydomain.com and the subdomain FTP password then place a check in the box to remember the password.

Once you are in, save it in your Favorites for ease of future entry. I believe a network place will be created and you can then create a shortcut to place on your desktop.

Note that you need to use Windows Explorer for the FTP, not Internet Explorer.

You can also use any FTP client to go to http://ftp://mydomain.com and sign in with username wholesale@mydomain.com and the FTP password. The system places you into the correct folder based on the username you entered.
