Can anyone help?
I want to set up a poll inside a secure members only area for voting using radio (option) buttons. I'm not sure at this point if I'm going to just have the results emailed to me or try to have it sent into a database file. One thing I do know is that I need to make sure that there is no multiple voting. Preferably I would like the responses I get to identify the user. That way I know exactly who has and has not voted. Since many will use workplace computers to vote I can't screen by IP. Can frontpage do this or is there a script I should use?
On a side note, just for fun on the test post I will set up, I would like to set up a text response that would be displayed if a specific response is chosen. Would some type of if...then code work here?

Much of the functionality you are after is included in the SMF forum scripts.

Thanks, I haven't gotten a chance to explore the SMF features yet since I installed it. I'll check it out.

The only way I know to do this strictly with Front Page, would be to add a field to your form asking for their name. Then you would have to manually check if anyone entered the same name. Cumbersome, but not impossible.

You might check out the polls available in Fantastico. I don't know if any of them will do exactly what you want, but they are worth taking a look at.
