Hello B,
To answer your questions I am going to recap them first then, provide the answer and insight for you.
Q. Can I host as many sites that I want? Is there a limit on CPU/Memory or MySQL
A. You can host as many sites as your server allows by it's physical constraints. Just like a 1989 Ford Escort Wagon won't be able to keep up with a Ferrari, you must purchase a server plan that meets your needs and expectations. If you have questions about what server plan is a good fit for you I recommend contacting our sales department and they will be able to help you choose.
Q. Will each website have their own access to Cpanel?
A. That is entirely up to you on how you plan to setup the domains. With A dedicated server, you will have access to WHM (Web Host Manager) which is the backend of Cpanel. Please keep in mind that on a dedicated server, if you wish to use CPanel, you must purchase the license with the server.
Q. What about Fantastico? (Those free scripts) A. Fantastico is only available as a part of Cpanel, and requires an additional license be purchased, but it can be installed just like the shared servers.
Q. Will I be able to setup each website with it's own IP? Will I be able to Setup an SSL Certificate for each site?
A. On Dedicated servers, we limit the number of IPs one server can have to 10 total (that would equal to 2 that come with the account, and 8 additional IPs that could be purchased).
Q. Do I need to worry about security? (And backups for this case)
A. When you purchase a dedicated server, you become the Admin in control of the entire server. This can be a pretty daunting task for anyone that has not had any background in server administration before, but we do offer managed hosting packages that add to our dedicated servers. We provide different packages for different levels to meet just about everyone's needs in this department. For most people that come from a shared environment, I recommend Managed Hosting intense, which manages your important updates, allows you to request PHP/Apache be recompiled (for version update or feature add) and includes setting up a firewall, and your backups via the control panel.
If you have any further questions please let us know.
