Hello,

First off I'm not a Flash "expert." But I know enough to do animations.

What I am trying to do is make it appear there lines coming down from the top of the stage (a ceiling in this case). I made the lines in Illustrator, outlined them and copied/pasted them into flash to use as a mask for a white rectangle that would animate downwards to make it appears the lines are actually coming down from the top.

Well it works great when see the animation on the stage by scrubbing the player head, but when I go test the Flash movie (command/control + ENTER), only one line shows. I read on Adobes site that only one object can be a mask. Is there anyway to "group" them into one object so they all show the white rectangle going down behind them? Or do I have to make one layer per line?

Hope that makes sense.

Thanks!

EDIT: This movie pretty much sums what I have to do: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U7ME605wfAg

Looks like that solves my problem. I'll have to redo the lines in Flash in order for it to work like in the tutorial there.
