I'm working with PHP and using GD library. I´m getting the error
Warning: imagejpeg(): Unable to open 'prueba.jpg' for writing in /home/cemelco2/public_html/cemelco/panel_lib.php on line 202

when I try to save a jpg file with imagejpeg() GD function

Please help!!

I was all ready to jump in here and tell you about the gloriousness that is Photoshop's Save For Web feature, but I can see I assumed incorrectly.  I have no PHP and GD library experience, so I'm over my head here.  You might want to try asking the good folks in the PHP forum.

I'm not that experienced with the GD libraries (just started using it with typo3) but i'm thinking that it may be something related to the state of the server you are on. What server are you being hosted on right now?


(and whats the url of the script? I have a few ideas also why it wouldnt work properly but i'd like to see it before i say anything too stupid Wink )

Did you try changing the permission the the jpg file to be writeable by all?
