Hello - I created my website on Microsoft Word XP with its "web-wizard" and the picture shows up there (it's a jpg I copied from a floppy disk), but online it show's up as a box with a red x in it.

I'd appreciate any help you have to offer.  Thank you!  Angela

if so then u need to put the image in a folder which u will also upload and browse for it again.... the red x means the images cannot be found...!

Ok, the most likely problem is that your linking is wrong. Is it uploaded to your server and is the path in the html pointing to the right direction? e.g http://www.yoursite.com/images/hmmph.jpg

that may be ur problem Very Happy

The problem is probably that your html page is looking for the picture on a floppy disk.

As your floppy disk is not in the lunarpages server in Los Angeles, it can't find the image!

Just get rid of the bit which says a:/ in your code, and just leave the picture name.

That should work.

lol
'Did you ?'
'Most likely'
'Probably'

The question is easier answered by giving a link to your website to tell you WHAT your problem is.
The suppositions above could ALL be your problem along with one or two others. Being able to SEE your page, would give a better chance of getting the correct answer to your specific query   Wink
