I have a few questions.  I have been using cafepress.com for over a year to sell shirts from my website.  I have also looked at spreadshirt.com, and although they seem to have better products they are also more expensive.

So the questions:
1) Does anyone have an opinion on these (or other similar) t-shirt vendors?
2) Does anyone know of an easy (hopefully free or cheap) vector image maker? I have an old version of Macromedia FreeHand, but the interface is awful.

wow, if you're using an old Freehand, I don't think you want to go to a free vector maker. I just can't remember if "gimp" is bitmap or vector, but search for it. You could get a used Illustrator on ebay, I guess.

Opinion on Cafepress: yes, they mark up the product so your audience has to pay more for a tee than if they went to the flea market, but they also handle print-on-demand and shipping AND billing, so it's well worth the markup.
