I've been working on a new logo for my site ( http://upsave.com/) and wanted to hear what you guys have to say about what I have so far: Just so you know: UpSave.com is a free online bookmark manager (you can see the current logo at the top left at UpSave.com). Waiting for your feedback.....

Looks pretty good. Yeah, I think it's much better than the one that's on there now. Get rid of the line just to the left of the hand though. If you thought it might not be noticeable, well...

I created a new version: I also need a smaller version so I created this: (I know there's a little gray spot on the right, I'll remove it later) What do you guys think? I'm not a graphic artist so I'd appreciate any remarks you could give me.

To keep your colour scheme going: Also, you may want to sharpen the hand up a bit. It looks a little blurry. Other than that, good work!

Yeah, I really like the one where the "p" and the "S" come together. That one is great, but so are the others!

I sharpened the hand a bit. MikeBoger, thanks for the work you did Yeah, I really like the one where the "p" and the "S" come together. That one is great, but so are the others! I also like how the "p" and "S" come together that's why I kept them the same color. Here are the improved versions: and or I still haven't decided whether to have the small logo with the same color scheme as the large logo or to keep it all one color in order to have the "p" and "S" blend together better.

I think it's better with the two colors coming together. It gives it more color and interest and it's easier to see the "p" and "S". I think you should take the background shade away or make it closer to the logo text and not so far from it. Also, the line under the Safe could be made a bit better if you ask me. Make it a little less sharp and mess with it a bit more if you ask me. Looks really good though so far

really like that color scheme that you have going on.
However the hand would still need some sharpenning, it seems too blurry to my taste...

Thanks for all the tips. Here are the current versions: and the large version: I improved the underline, made the hand less blurry, moved the shadow, and removed the dirty spot. Anything else I could improve?

The shadow looks a lot better now. How about trying to take the bottom of the "p" and make a line that starts from it and make the line underline the word "Save" while still being attached to the bottom of the "p"? That might look good but I am not sure.

The images are currently png but since they are going to be on the web should I convert them to jpg or will it be ok leave them png? I know that some browsers have difficulties with transparent png images but mine aren't transparent. Thank you all for all you help

I like the large version now PNG should be allright. Most browsers support them 100% (more if they dont use alpha channels. (the only thing are those animated pngs. Havent seen lots of support from those since the support withdrew on that initative.) I would say its all in the generated file size comparison. Might even think about a .gif comparison since it's about the same color on the same lines. PLay around with the settings and see what the best quality between size and quality you get.
