Im gonna have a go at designing my first winamp skin. The problem is i dont know how to code them. Is thier another moderator that knows how to code them and would be happy to code my design. I will release the skin for download on my site and also put it up on winamp.com and all of the big skin sites. And if no1 does, is it ok for me to ask this this in the other forums and what topic should it go in?

Thanks Guys

I think it would go in Graphics.

I've changed winamp skins in the past, just by editing the files.

I can't remember how it's done exactly. Is it in a zip file, or special compressed file?

I can't remember at all. It looked terrible though...

Try in "Graphics"

theres a difference stephan, with winamp 2 all you have to do is change the images because it keeps that square look. But with winamp 3, you can customize the layout of the player, therefore it needs coding added so that you can chage the position of the buttons and stuff. Thanks for the advice tho.

or go into modding websites Wink

it all depends if you want to do a winamp 2 or 3 skin. 3 would be a lot more complex due to the xml coding involved though.

I know theres a difference, 2 is just image editing and 3 is creating images from scratch and then coding the play with xml. can you do it autarkis?
