Telos Emergency Migration.
« on: February 25, 2010, 03:17:14 PM »
Hello,

The Telos server requires a move due to read only /usr partition.   We are restoring from a backup dated February  25th, 2010 Unfortunately, we do not have advance knowledge of the exact time of when the transfer will be entirely completed as it is dependent on numerous factors, however, we are estimating the restore will complete by approximately 5pm Pacific time on Friday, February  26th, 2010.

Please note that you may check the current status for this server at any time in CAP via https://account.lunarpages.com/ with your cPanel username and password, then by clicking the Network Status icon.

Thank you for your patience and we apologize for any inconvenience in the interim. If you have any issues with your site, please contact support@lunarpages.com

Hi,

The Telos server is online and resolving sites, however it may go offline because of the file system errors.  That is why we are restoring from a backup while it is running.

Hi,

The original Telos servers /home partition just went read only. We have shut that machine down and have rebooted the new Telos server. Once the new server is back from reboot we will begin to sync the /home and mysql directories to the new Telos server so that it can have the most up to date data.

Thank you for your patience.

Telos has completed its migration.  All email, web files and databases have been copied over.  All servers great.
