Hello,

The Eternal server requires a move due to file system errors.  The server is currently running and your site will resolve in the interim, although cPanel and several services related to it are not working due to the read only file system. Additionally, you may be unable to write or save information to your sites due to the file system errors.

We will begin moving the data to a new server immediately. Unfortunately, we do not have advance knowledge of the exact time of when the transfer will be entirely completed as it is dependent on numerous factors. We are estimating the restored data from the sync will complete by approximately 10am Pacific time on Wednesday, January 13, 2009.

Please note that you may check the current status for this server at any time in CAP via https://account.lunarpages.com/ with your cPanel username and password, then by clicking the Network Status icon.

Thank you for your patience and we apologize for any inconvenience in the interim. If you have any issues with your site, please contact support@lunarpages.com

Hello,

The Eternal server keeps rebooting and has become unstable in the current state, so we are going ahead and switch to the new Eternal server and proceed with the rsync to it from the old server. This means some sites that were working online to view will be offline until they restore. The benefit for doing this, however, will be that MySQL and email services, which were not working at all due to home being read only (MySQL is in /home/data/mysql on this server), these services now will begin working, so synced sites will be fully working on the reboot.

Those that are not working and not yet on the new server will sync faster with the old one no longer processing requests, so we should hopefully have the rsync finished sooner this way.

If you have any questions, as always please email support@lunarpages.com

Thank you
