Hello,

The Mars server is being upgraded to a larger capacity machine with newer components. This move will be taking place with an rsync to sync the data from the old machine to the new.

The rsync will begin at approximately noon pacific time today (Thursday, August 4, 2010) and complete this evening around 10pm pacific time. After the rsync completes, we will shut down the old machine and reboot to the new one. There may be a short period of downtime during the switchover.

Please avoid making any major changes today during the rsync. While we will perform two rsyncs and a third rsync of SQL data, it is preferable to reduce the changes being made to sites during the rsyncs to ensure a speedy process.

You may review the status of the move in your Customer Account Page area under Network Status.

If you have any questions about the migration, please let us know at support@lunarpages.com
