The Vader server is being upgraded to a larger capacity machine with newer components. This move will be taking place with an data synchronisation to sync the data from the old machine to the new.

The data synchronisation will begin at approximately Tuesday, Feb 22nd, 2011 11PM pacific time and switch over to new hardware will be done at Thursday, Feb 24th, 2011 11:45 PM. After the data synchronisation completes, we will shut down the old machine and reboot to the new one. There may be a short period of downtime during the switch over.

Please avoid making any major changes at Thursday, Feb 24th, 2011 11:45 PM during the data synchronisation. While we will perform two data synchronisation and a third data synchronisation of MYSQL data, it is preferable to reduce the changes being made to sites during the data synchronisation to ensure a speedy process.
