Hello,

The VPS28 server requires an emergency restore as it is currently reporting disk subsystem failure. While we are working on bringing the original server back and investigating the cause, we have already started restoring it to a new server from the latest backups as a precautionary measure. The latest backup will be from October 15 at 18pm Pacific time. Please note that sites are currently offline. VPS servers will begin to restore throughout the process, however, to avoid any further corruption they will be kept offline until entire Virtuozzo hierarchy is restored.

Unfortunately, we do not have advance knowledge of the exact time of when this window will occur as it is dependent on numerous factors, however, we are estimating this will be approximately 2am Pacific time Saturday, October 17, 2009.

Please note that you may check the current status for this server at any time in CAP via https://account.lunarpages.com/ with your cPanel username and password, then by clicking the Network Status icon.

Thank you for your patience and we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Hello,

We really apologize for the late updates. But the old server was came back with healthy condition when we reseated Raid controller and drives so emergency migration was stopped. We will migrate the old server if we find any issue with existing vps28 in future.

Thanks.
