Hello,

This morning our xena server was the target of a large DDoS attack. In most cases we are easily able to filter attacks of this nature.  Unfortunately, we were unable to define the  correct filters for this attack in a timely manner.  It became necessary for us to change the IP of the xena server.

The IP for the xena server has been changed too 216.227.220.4.  This has stabilized the situation and is allowing us to work on new filters.

Our network is stabilized at this time.  If your site is not resolving correctly or you continue to have issues with latency, please contact us at support@lunarpages.com.

We apologize for any inconvenience that this may have caused.

Sincerely,
Lunarpages Support Staff

Hello,

Before emailing support that your site is down, please read the following:

The IP changes to the server are still propagating through our nameservers and anticipated to have completed around 8pm PST.  The following steps will not need to be used until after that time.

If you host your DNS elsewhere (the nameservers are not pointed to ours), you will need to change the A record for your domain to 216.227.220.4 before continuing

IP Address changes for a server will also mean the IP address for any accounts not using a dedicated IP will have changed as well.  It is possible that your computer has cached the IP information for your domain and you will need to clear this by running the following command from the Start -> Run menu on your system:

Code:
IPCONFIG /FLUSHDNS

If this does not resolve the issue, then please provide a trace route to your domain with a support ticket
