Im 47.Married.Father to two children.Living in the woods(almost)in the norh of sweden.
Started computing three years ago.Have been in to music computing mainly since then.
Saw the offer for free webbspace at Lunar pages in May this year and thought i`d give it a try.Using Front page express to design my site and find it ok to work with(only wish there was a bloody manual for it worth the name)but with a little fantasy and some comparing to other sites you can go far he he..

Im also a member of a couple of boards concerning music and i find the internet a very good way of meeting people that you would otherwise never talk too.Only bad thing is that when you grow to like people you cant invite them over for a cup of coffe..hehe

  Thats about it for now.

 Blue.

Well ...I am 43 & married(nearly 2 months now). I started computing 'this' time 3 years ago , before that 1985 was about the last time I touched a computer, it had 1meg o ram and did not crash(maybe because it was Amiga windows not MS).
I built the computer I am using because most ones you buy retail suck in one form or another, when I had bought all the pieces I was momentarilly stressed out but managed to get it all together without having "where the feck does this go" pieces left over.

I came here by a series of accidents, but I am ok now that I have met you people.
I worked with disabled kids for 10 years and adults for five until my back started to go.
I am now getting a mail order computer business going so that people can get a good deal.
Well that's about it.

well I am Brian. 16 years old, the first computer i touched i was in the.... second grade? first grade? so that was 8 or 9 years ago i think... man i should know this stuff. The first comp my family had was a intel 386 with two harddrives (one 150 megs, one 250), 4 or 8 megs of ram, 36 MHz on the "turbo" setting, lol. It had one of those 5' 1/4 drives, and a 3 and a half floppy drives. Windows 3.1. I think i've gotten all those specs right. Now my computer is a 350 MHz AMD K6/2. Pretty crappy, i want a new computer badly. My main use for the computer is graphics, It's what i do in my spare time to make some denairo. I hope to get my personal site up and bouncing in its entirity by the end of this month. lets pray  ... lol. OK thats enough for now, maybe i'll post later when i think of more stuff to say. you can go to my site and read my bio, some of my friends say its funny, but i'll let you be the judge.

Hello,
I'm Tony, 42 (for a few more days) living in Ft. Lauderdale, FL.  Bluelight, what do you use for the music?  I do a lot of stuff here, but nothing major, just tracks on Cool Edit Pro (nice program).  As for web designing, you might want to consider Front Page (not the express) or maybe graduate to Dreamweaver-there is a bit of a learning curve, but not much.  I agree with you about the coffee thing.
Have fun!

I am Thomas Baker 20 year old student of computer workings - computer science to be exact.

I love the idea of this maginficient machine and started using computer about 3 years ago. I have studied quite a bit about computer security and held a job in college for 2 years monitoring their networks.

I am originally from country called Latvia, a small country in Europe been American citizen 5 years now

Web design, well thats my job at the moment, Im working for a high tech company as well as for my family making small adoption sites and working on much larger team effort websites as well.

I love the idea of Lunarpages, as much time as i have spent online i can tell you that they are one of the best hosts for the price and definitely one of the fastest for free websites.

I would rate Lunarpages 5 on 1-5 scale   I hope to stay around here for quite a while sharing what i know and learning many new things from all you wonderful posters.

Well thats enough about me, time to wake up now...

*sigh*

Damnit I can't think of a whitty reply atm.

OK well lemme say this, 3 of the women in power positions on this board are in their 30's, one of 'em is a dominatrix, the other a Hussy and the third a feckin' goddess.

I think 30's count for something.

Apparently it's a peakin' time for sexuality too.

We count... we count all the times you stuff up and offend us, then we track you down and stomp on your testicles...

heh
