When I upload my webapp in a WAR file to the webapp directory it works fine.  But I do not want to do that since I have many JSP's that will updated everyday.  So I uploaded all the files one by one into their proper places - classes in WEB-INF/classes, etc. - and the server does not recognize that they are in there.  Does anyone know the reason for this?  Also, how do I delete the deployed webapp for the webapp folder?

Hi,

If you cannot delete files in your webapps folder it might be an ownership issue. You can contact support and ask them to add your account to a chown script.

Hope this will help.

I've found that when I create a new webapp, it automatically creates a WEB-INF folder that is owned by root and that I cannot write to with FTP. Are you sure that your uploads ever really happened? I can't delete the WEB-INF, but I can rename it. So I rename it to something else, then create a new WEB-INF folder, and everything is fine.
