I get the following error message in a number of sub-directories.

ERROR(S):

cache : Deleting failed.
templates_c : Deleting failed.

Go Back

QuiXplorer 2.3 - the QuiX project

Any suggestions. This is not critical at this point, but I am trying to clean up some old directories, files and applications that existed on before I moved to the current server.

What type of files were they, and had you done anything different to them before, such as move locations or change permissions?  Also, do you get the same error via FTP?

In this case it is the Bitweaver sub-directory.. I want to standardize on your version of Drupal (I think you have the latest).

The permission on the files in question allow for deletion, yet I cannot via LPCP file manager or FTP.

So, any suggestions?

They may need to be chowned to your username. Please email support@lunarpages.com and ask them to check the files.

Hi,

If you connect to FTP using Total Commander for example and right click and press Properties you will have a list of the files in that directory along with user/group/permissions like this :

drwxr-x---    3 username  username      4096 Jul 17 10:20 public_ftp
drwxr-x---    9 username  99           4096 Sep 29 11:46 public_html
drwxr-xr-x    7 username  username      4096 Aug  8 00:42 tmp

If the files from those directories are not under your username and show with numbers instead of your username you will need to contact support@ to get them changed to yours.
