So that I can help keep you all in the know about the latest and greatest LPCP innovations - I thought I would make a list of some of the most recent updates in LPCP and the web hosting wiki, so you can get more out of your Lunarpages web hosting account.  Here is a rundown of the new and updated tutorials I've done just the last few days for the wiki:

New:
http://wiki.lunarpages.com/Server_Access_Logs_in_LPCP
http://wiki.lunarpages.com/Error_Logs_in_LPCP
http://wiki.lunarpages.com/Connecting_to_Databases_in_LPCP

Updated:
http://wiki.lunarpages.com/File_Manger_Help_in_LPCP (added rename function)
http://wiki.lunarpages.com/Create_and_Delete_MySQL_Users_in_LPCP (updated to solve IP/hostname confusion)

Just want to make sure we keep you all up to date.  Thumbs Up

Update - Also new, but not directly related to LPCP:

Hi there, I keep seeing these updates for LPCP but can't find where/how to get my hands on them. I was running v0.0.12 until about 6 hours ago when tech support upgraded me to v0.013, but still no "File Manager" link in mine. What's the scoop on releases, and how do we get the latest?

Thanks,
Mike

Nevermind, I'm dumb. Just found out from support that the "shared" vs. "dedicated" versions of LPCP are where the differences lie. Sorry for the space waste.

I'm checking out the LCPC demo ( http://lpcp-demo.lunarpages.com:20081 ) and can't manage to find the file manager. What's up with this ?

Shared accounts don't get the same LCPC as dedicated servers ?

The demo is for dedicated servers. LPCP on shared accounts certainly does have File Manager just like Cpanel.

Best way to check out LPCP for shared hosting customers would be to look around the tutorials featured here:

I am wondering about the new "Server Access Logs" feature as described here ->    http://wiki.lunarpages.com/Server_Access_Logs_in_LPCP

Is there some reason I would not see this new feature? I still have raw access logs, and raw log manager, but not any 'new' features that I can see.

What is your primary domain jack?  Are you sure you are using LPCP and not cPanel?

jacknorth, if you see Raw Log Manager, then you are on Cpanel. That article was about LPCP which is a new control panel we have created and continue to work on improving for our customers.

Oh Ok, thanks. I must not be a customer.

We have both Cpanel and LPCP servers. All new customers are being placed on LPCP servers unless they specifically request Cpanel for an additional charge. You probably have been with us awhile if you are on Cpanel.
