OK I have followed the tutorials and I can't connect to my coppermine data base

Tried to get into the admin interface (with assigned user) I keep getting errors

Coppermine critical error:
Unable to connect to database !

Configure

MySQL said: Access denied for user 'copper'@'localhost' (using password: YES)

Could not create a mySQL connection, please check the SQL values entered

MySQL error was : Access denied for user 'admin'@'localhost' (using password: YES)


I have set up coppermine before the old CP and had no problems. What am I doing wrong?

I haven't used LPCP, but as you may remember you needed to do cpaneluser_dbuser so try that

lpcpuser_dbuser and lpcpuser_dbname

I don't think I ever had to enter it that way?  

I have manually installed copper mine, deleted the database and assigned user. Figured I would start fresh.

I've attached a pic of the CM install. I don't know/remember what to put in these fields.

Since you are using a LPCP-powered account, localhost would not be used when installing the Coppermine script (as the MySQL host).  This is because these servers store the MySQL databases on another server (for performance and reliability issues).  Try replacing localhost with lpmysql01.lunariffic.com.  Hope that helps!

I guess I'm getting a little closer? lol

 A gallery was a big factor for my friend, any other ideas?

Besides this issue I have managed to navigate LPCP fairly well. I have to admit creating databases is a lot easier in CP.
