Our site has recently been hacked and i wanted to view the site access logs to see if i could pull an IP address or something out of them.

I downloaded and unzipped our .gz backup file but I have no idea what program to use to actually read this file.

the file name is our sitename.com.1 and i don't know what to use to read it.

If someone could let me know that would be great.  thanks

Notepad on Windows should do fine. TextEdit on a mac.
