lol - yes I did say rats - mice are cute, but rats are much more intelligent and will play games with you.

Frank is a lizard - I gues you could say he's stuffed - but thats only because he eats so much....

Here is a pic of him..

For a lizard, he has a lot of character - he is my little baby

Wow, that's cool! GREAT pic of him, too, BTW! :thumb:

I hope you don't dress him up, though  :(

Creatures of that sort just don't like to be wearing miniature clothing when they weren't meant to.

I know of people who do that and I always feel sorry for the little critters. Especially, cuz they can't take them off on their own (the non-opposing thumbs are such an obstacle)

I have never dressed him up - I don't think he would ever forgive me!  I tried to put a special made leash on him once so I could leave him in the garden - he wasn't having any of it...  He is very very docile until you wind him up - and then he lets you know he's not impressed  :whip:

I would recomend beardies to anyone looking to get a lizard.  They are generally quite friendly and apart from the cost of the vivarium set up they are fairly easy to keep. They live about 8-15 years and are one of the more intelligent lizards, so its not long before you get very very attached.

Plus like rpassmore said - they look pretty cool  8-)  (I told him you said that, and he was so flattered he offered to share a locust with you...)

Shyness, I just looked at your website and in FireFox your images are all missing and you are showing the &nbsp codes.

It looks fine in IE6.0 though. Nice site! :thumb:

Anyway, just thought you should know, cuz there are many people using FireFox these days.

Hmmm, the closer I look at the two, they are both different sites, it seems.  When I copied your URL to IE6.0, the properties are all different. How weird!

Okay, I think I know what it is.  You are using the backslash \ instead of forward slash / for your paths.

Here, this is how you have it:

Code: [Select]
<img src="Pics\Bars\newsbar.gif" width="300" height="30">

FireFox (Netscape is the same, I just checked) must not interpret the backslash.  It reads it as a space instead of a slash.

Thanks leighsww.  I must admit, I wrote it and viewed it with ie - tried to make javascript available to netscape & ie but really need to download all the main browsers and do some testing to get everything working for all.

I'm not even about 2% finished of the whole site, and its just too easy to think - I'll worry about the other browsers later      bad me I know  :whip:  :whip:

As from tomorrow, I will turn over a new leaf, sort out all the current pages and make a pack to do it as I go!

... As I am writing this, I just read your next post.  Yes I do have a habbit of doing the forward slash as a backslash - I had no idea that would effect other browsers in that way.

You have just saved me loads of time in trying to work out why the pics were not showing! Thanks very much, I might even start changing them all tonight  :yey:  :yey:

ahh tell him thanks.  Although they might be considered a delicacy on some tables...my stomach is a bit weak to share his snacks. I try to tell him to toughen up, but he's just a darned lazy bum.

Beer & the way it gets you drunk is also an ongoing hobby of mine.

Since we are back onto hobbies again - I guess I can join in....

My first all consuming hobby is scrollsawing. For those of you that don't know what that is - you take a piece of wood and cut a gazillion holes in it and make it really decorative and pretty. You can see all kinds of pictures of scrollwork at saw-online.com/cprmine

Then my second hobby is showing our dogs. You can see a picture of our puppy in my avator. He's an AKC Champion now. We are just waiting for him to grow up to see if we are going to continue to show him as a finished Champion.

I don't count the family, three grandkids, and such as a hobby - so that's about it.
