Hi all:
My boss has a Seagate external hard drive. It is supposed to use the software "autobackup" to perform the backup of selected files. I tried restoring an old .mbx Eudora mailbox file and it errored, saying it was the wrong kind of file. So if the software won't save mailbox files, the whole thing is useless.

He suggested I try to search for new software (free) to interface with the drive and do auto backups of the computer files (including Eudora mailboxes), as he's never been happy with Seagate's software. Where do I start? Win XP home OS.

Any suggestions?

I've been looking around and LifeHacker has an article on how to do autobackups with free software:

Here is the software they recommend:

I have installed the same program nearly half year ago and I'm using the without programs. If you need help with it just let me know because I became very experienced in it's usage. Smile
