Has anybody checked out Google Wave yet?

Google Wave is an online tool for real-time communication and collaboration tool.  All in all, sounds pretty neat.

Here's a little more from the Google Wave site:

A wave can be both a conversation and a document where people can discuss and work together using richly formatted text, photos, videos, maps, and more.

Are you excited, or have you tried it out yourself yet?  If anybody has invites - hit me up via a PM on the forums, and maybe we can setup a Lunarpages-clients-only request thread for invites.  Thumbs Up

Here are some interesting links:

I'm interested- but no invites, myself  Confused
I would also be interested in the open source implementation of it- setting a wave server on my site would be neat.
