I'm afraid the press will already have too much "scandal" on you.  You've already graphically disclosed a very nasty bout with the toilet.  Not to mention that you can't even beat mussavcom's post count.  The peeps (as you call them) will never elect you ... your political career is ruined, Hush.  Crying or Very sad

Plus he admitted to being a bot.  I'm sure there must be some law that the Prime Minister must be human, although sometimes people might wonder if they are electing monkeys.

Regarding my post count, I've been on weird charge patterns recently - sleeping for 4 hours in one go, once every two days Sad

Regarding taxes, I don't mind taxes, but I think there has to be a point where it stops:

Income Tax (Based on your income including monetorygifts from family and friends!)
Council Tax (Based on your house and the area you live in)
Road Tax (Based on the engine size of your car)
Road Charges (Toll roads where you pay extra to use the road - charges that should be handled by Road Tax)
VAT

There is talk of tax on non essential food items...

Of course then there is a TV License fee for owning any equipment capable of receiving TV frequences (not just a TV...)

It's got to the stage where it is ridiculous!

Hush, we don't have road tax here, so that sounds crummy.  We also don't have VAT, I think it is called sales tax in US if I understand what it is correctly.

Next, do you think there should be a nonhuman tax? We do have to get tags for pets, so I wondered if bots should be taxed for not being human but mechanical? Maybe, just a computer tax for people who use a computer?  Just trying to give UK more ideas of where they can get additional tax money. Wink

I believe an empty soda bottle was once elected mayor of a city in Texas... if that can happen, why can't monkeys/bots be elected as PM in the UK?

that's an interesting way to charge for road tax. might i venture to say that's a logical and intelligent way to detirmine how much you pay. over here the gov thinks that age has alot to do with it so the young pay alot more than the middle aged and elderly. at an age where money is scarce they make you pay more.  Grr..!!  great way to put off young road users.

i'm willing to bet my car that our roads are second rate compared to roads found all over europe and the us. on occasion when i meet tourists at the local watering hole i ask them what they think of our roads and they are not very impressed. you know, i wouldn't mind paying the taxes if they actually fixed the pot hole ridden roads.

does anyones gov charge cyclists a tax? here in sydney we've had a big campaign about 'th road is there to share' and 'watch for cyclists' and i can't begin to imagine how much money was spent on making bike lanes and such and they don't have to pay a single cent in taxes.  Confused

Hey, we did have a woman who was made of iron as a prime minister... Mind you, she started the slump that was to follow - selling off virtually every industry the country had Sad

Fantastic woman, and very formidable - just made some bad choices... Grr..!!

And lets not forget that traffic ban in London centre... You have to pay to drive your car in London centre...  Sad

Yeh don't forget the 75% tax on petrol (gas)
Plus I'm not allowed to walk my dog on the beach anymore as it's illegal.
Driving our 4x4 on the beach is now illegal
Drinking in the street is banned and smoking in public places will have a total ban soon.
I'm no longer allowed to take a swig of Pepsi whist driving, and smoking and driving is being made illegal.
We are forced to wear a seat belt whether we are sitting in the front or rear of the car.
The car has to pass an extensive and expensive goverment test once a year where it will fail even if you forget to top up the screenwash.
The government are now considering making everyone carry identity cards.

What a wonderful land of the free we live in eh?  Confused

Based on this information, I don't think I'll be moving to the UK anytime soon.  Sad

He he,

Yep I feel quite strongly against  those laws, I'm not an anorchist or anything I just don't like being told what to do for my own good.
And as for the taxation well..........  Grr..!!
The guy who bumped up the tax on fuel said it was to encourage people to use public transport, whilst he ran 2xJaguars.
Something not right there
