Happy holidays to you, too, Coon ... and all others on this forum whom I've had the pleasure of chatting with (yes, even those on Miraenda's bad LIST).

My husband and I have been making it a tradition to see a movie on dec25th with my family (father, sisters, brother-in-law, nephews). We'll be seeing "Lord of the Rings". My husband and I saw it on our vacation and it was soooo good we wouldn't mind seeing it again with the rest of our gang. dec25th is a good time to go to the theatre as it's not the most crowded. How about you?

Well, I could have gone skiing right around the 29th, but I had to cancel due to all the soccer games that I will be having right after New Years. During dec25th, I will probably go over to my family's and spend some time there.

Tsk, tsk, Tray ... I hate to burst your dec25th bad-spirit bubble, but you forgot the "BAH" before the "HUMBUG". Just "HUMBUG" doesn't cut it as a Scrooge. Happy Holidays to everyone as well. I will be spending some quality time alone on dec25th working. Oh, bummers to have to work on dec25th Day. I'll peek in on you in the morning to say "Hi" and spend a little time with you before I leave the house so you have some company that day (I'm sure there will be others checking the forum that day, as well). Well, I could have gone skiing right around the 29th, but I had to cancel due to all the soccer games that I will be having right after New Years. During dec25th, I will probably go over to my family's and spend some time there. Skiing sounded like it would have been a lot of fun, too bad. Did you guys win some sort of finals and had unexpected extra games, or something? It sounds like you didn't expect these soccer games if you had made plans for skiing earlier. Anyway, good that you will be spending the holiday season with your family. That's always nice.

I'm gonna hop on the "doesn't celebrate it" bandwagon, too.

Now, guys, you don't have to celebrate dec25th to get into the holiday spirit of drinking egg nog, eating pumpkin pie with lots of whipping cream, and feasting until you're ready to burst. Does that not give you even a teeny, tiny bit of enjoyment during this time of year?

Actually, I had the soccer games planned all along and the skiing was the one that just came up. My family wanted to take me and my brother all of a sudden, but I couldn't go so I'm having to miss out on the whole thing.

Plus the mistletoe, don't forget about the mistletoe. Miraenda - we can't spoil those poor unsuspecting ladies' holiday spirit who may be standing under that mistletoe. Or even our own spirits just imagining what those poor unsuspecting ladies would be going through standing under the mistletoe with Trey or Mike ... nope, we'll leave the mistletoe out. Coon - Double-bummers! Well, good luck and win all those soccer games so it makes up for that skiing trip you had to miss. We'll be rooting for you and your team!
