Hey guys,
Hopefully some of you guys will find this interesting. Personally, I'm over the moon about it !!

First...a bit of a background....
I run an internet sports-strategy game called Track King
http://www.TrackKing.org, which has been hosted by Lunarpages for the entire lifecycle of the game, from basic hosting in development/alpha testing days, through to a VPS in beta testing days, and then for the past 12 months on a Dedicated plan.
In Track King, the player plays the role of the Owner of a stable of Thoroughbreds, breeding/training/racing horses against opponents around the world. The game is free to pay with optional paid membership, and is definitely not a "joysticks and reflexes" game. It's a long-term game of thinking and planning, growing your stable over a matter of weeks, months, even years, and always strategising about which horses and jockeys to use, which races to enter, and future development of the stable (breeding horses using a realistic genetics model, training, vetting, and general management. Even train apprentice jockeys who use a detailed neural-network style of Artificial Intelligence during races)
The big news!About 2 weeks ago, Track King was voted the "
Favourite Simulation Game of 2009" by an independent Online Games Directory (BBGSite) - one of the highest ranking Game Directories on Alexa.

Quite an amazing feat given the game was designed and built almost solely by just one person (me!), with Flash applications built by a long-term friend of mine, and has been run on a shoestring budget with almost no advertising. Some of the games we beat boast memberships about 200x the size of ours, and have dozens of people on their staff. We're unbelievably proud of this achievement!
Thanks for your help along the way Lunarpages. Now to try and get some sponsorship from around the place, and maybe some media coverage.
If anyone knows anywhere that might be interested in running a story about this success, we'd greatly appreciate the help and exposure.
Stay tuned - in the next few weeks there will be a 'lite' version of this game - called Track Legend (and also hosted by Lunarpages!) - making its way onto Facebook.
