I finally have an advertising budget on MindCollisions.com.. so, I have this arse Kickin flash ad. The site I was gonna advertise it on, is claiming they wouldn't feel "comfortable" placing it on their site with so many young gamers.. Is this too risky or offensive? You can view it hereVolume up and mouse over..

Grrr... I love it, LOL. It looks good, maybe you should find a better site to advertise it on.

Yeah I'm trying to find a high traffic site that's a bit edgy but *cheap* I know what you mean. I am trying to do the same with my site, but it is kind of tough finding that perfect site.

I don't think the flash ad is offensive at all. It is just a bit naughty and that is far less risque than a lot of stuff kids are subjected to now on tv, in music, in video games, etc.

I agree for the most part, and it really does get your attention. The only problem I see is many sites still advertise for the standard banner size of 468x70 or whatever it is. maybe make a flash one of that size as well. Also some sites do tower banners (dont remember the size and some vary, 200x400 maybe). so you can have a nice 3some of ads on hand so when you do find a site, you can "conform" to their speficiations then and there instead of "oops I need to make another one" and then somebody else grabs the weekly/monthly spot

Yeah, this site requested specifically 125x125 that's why it was made to that size.

oh okies, (I misread) maybe its because its the skimpy leggies But they probaly refused just to save their skin mother: "OMG OMG THERE R BIG NAUGHTY LEG THING ON SCREEN! DONT GO THERE. I R SENDING NASTY LETTER TO THEM THAR PEOPLEZ" >.> (im probaly exagerating, but im guessing thats why they refused it) I dunno how I could see how it could be more "minor friendly" other than moving the tatoo somewhere else, but then it destroys the entire thing...

hehe ;-) definitely catches the eye ;-) Whose voice is it? LOL.. maybe a little risque.. definitly would get the parents uptight though the kids might not mind it so much. - Ed P.S. ZenGyro.. I wouldn't underestimate the people that complain! My first personal site had a cool flashing colour intro some guy email me saying how people would get seziures from it and how it was a severe legal risk etc etc.. LOL..

Hehe... I can understand sites finding that advertising as going a bit far. This is a banner that I floated with the users of my forum but in the end decided not to use: (Based on a graphic from uglypeople.co.uk) BTW Amy we are going to beat you at rugby tomorrow
