The two hour time difference does make a difference for me here in Wisconsin.
Keep up the good work!!

Hello.... I recently buy hosting with lunarpages, they called yesterday Sunday like a 3:30 to me p.m. hour of Venezuela, lamentably I I had to go on a urgent trip because my sister was hospitalized. I prefer that the calls to confirm our data are of 12am to 5pm… Thanks you very much by everything. Greetings from Venezuela

Here's a suggestion: either answer the phones or don't offer phone support at all.

Hello Mikemo:
We provide phone support because we do answer our phones. However, if the call queue is longer than normal, there might be a longer hold time than usual.

What is an average hold time during your hours of operation? how often is the call queue longer than normal? in the approx 20 times i've tried to use phone support in the last 11 months, i've only gotten through to a human being once. I'm not exaggerating. the remaining times i stay on hold for approx 20 minutes then roll to voicemail or get disconnected. phone support would be wonderful if it actually worked -- instead it feels like i'm calling a radio show to try and win tix to a concert. Judging from a lot of posts here (not because they posted a single incident but because a lot of folks say that this is their experience ALL THE TIME) i would guess that the majority of people trying to use phone support feel the same way that i (and many others who have expressed it in this forum) do. regards.

For us in the EST zone the 4am-8pm PST is fine (equal to 7am-11pm EST). I would think those living in PST zone and west would get the short shift. Then to, who wants to be in work by 4am, unless your call office is in the EST zone Can lunarpages find staff to work those hours? SteveSki

As Lunar offer their services globally, it must be neigh on impossible to please everybody.
For me in the UK the earlier the better, but I must be honest I was pretty much suprised that us in the UK have an 0800 number to ring Good On Ya.

I really agree with some of the things others have said. sure 24/7 is really what I need and have come to expect as most in the business do it, but what really counts is that during the hours you claim you're open you really do answer the phones. I've been on hold for long amounts of time only to be thrown to voicemail. What was worse was that no one ever called me back. By far the most common reason for leaving hosts is because of customer service. It's why I left my last host for here, and if this continues then I guess my search hasn't ended here as I had hoped.

I have always been able to contact a real person but the wait was long at times. Last night at around 11 PM Central I called and the phone went dead after the transfer. I tried this three times and then it went through. the wait last night was only about a minute or so thus the wait was very short . I doupt that I have used the service more then 10 times in the past 5 years. 24/7 for support was great. What Lunarpages will have to do is look at when the most calls are made and work around that time if they are going to cut down the hours they are open for phone support. If hours are cut I have no doupt that if there is a long wait to get a tech the wait will be even longer.
Thanks Lunarpages for your efforts to take care of your customers. That is one of the big reasons I have stayed with you for so long. Thanks for the recent upgrades with the data base qouta and the more available data transfer and webspace amounts.

This PST is really killing us in EST.
For example, we noticed that we haven't been getting email since 4:00 PM EST. Now I have to wait until 10:00 EST to get this thing resolved.
Not good.
