You might get better answer in the search engine optimization forum, but no follow basically means the robots do not follow the link back to the website. No follow links are still good for traffic though and can indirectly help a website rank well in the SERPs.

Links are two types...
Do follow
No follow

Search engine crawl only do follow links but search not crawl no follow links...

No follow is most important part in seo. It is a value that can be assigned to the attribute of an HTML a element to instruct some search engines. Its value was originally suggested to stop comment spam in blogs.

The nofollow attribute is for backlinks to a website. Ideally, all the inbound links should be "followed" for them to be considered as valuable.

No follow links are used to not indexing a webpage in SERP. If anyone do not want their data published to search engine then no follow links are used.

No follow is a link which is not follow by Google. it is not considered as a vote of your website.

I don't think so crawler doesn't crawl no follow links, but you can say that crawler give preference to do follow links.

nofollow is a value that can be assigned to the rel attribute of an HTML a element to instruct some search engines that a hyperlink should not influence the link target's ranking in the search engine's index. It is intended to reduce the effectiveness of certain types of search engine spam, thereby improving the quality of search engine results and preventing spamdexing from occurring <spam link removed>
